Orthopedic surgery can help pets who suffer from joint problems, torn ligaments, broken bones, and even help correct congenital problems.

Dr. Brown has been performing orthopedic surgery for more than 27 years. He has repaired a variety of bone fractures on dogs and cats as well as turtle shell repairs. He repairs stifle injuries in dogs (knee surgery) and has done a variety of procedures to correct these including TTA, tight-rope, Knotless Swivel Lock, and CBLO, an improvement to the common TPLO surgery.

He continues to seek additional training to learn the latest techniques. He can also perform cervical ventral slot surgery for neck injuries, limb and digit amputations, meniscus repair, patellar luxation repair, and FHO (Femoral Head Osteotomy) surgery for dogs’ hips. He can also perform limb and digit amputations, meniscus repair, patellar luxation repair, and FHO (Femoral Head Osteotomy) surgery for hips.
