Kristin, Animal Care Coordinator
Kristin
is an Animal Care Coordinator at our front desk at Central Animal
Hospital. She grew up in McMurray, Pennsylvania, 15 miles south of
Pittsburgh. She graduated from high school in McMurray then attended
college at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and studied Art Studio

She relocated to Tampa in 2003, and moved to St. Petersburg in 2004 and

Cinta, a rottweiler, and her parakeet named Bling. Kristin loves going
to the beach, listening to music, camping, swimming, traveling, eating,

because she loves being around animals everyday, meeting new pets and
their owners and helping to make them feel comfortable while they wait

Jessica, Groomer
Central
Animal Hospital has been very fortunate to have had Jessica grooming
clients' pets since November 2006. She is a native of Warren, Rhode
Island and lived there until the age of 22, after which she followed
her parents and relocated to Florida.
Grooming seems to "be in her blood," having watched and learned from
her mother who groomed when Jessica was young. Her affection and care
for animals deepened as she developed her professional grooming
techniques while working in her family's grooming business for 3 years
in Bradenton, Florida. After meeting her husband, Al, she relocated to
St. Petersburg, where she studied under a Master Groomer. She continues
to hone her skills, with specific focus on precision scissoring and
styling, by attending grooming seminars around the country. This allows
her to stay up-to-date on the latest pet styles and keeps her busy when
she's not caring for her nine year old son, Mason.
Active in both PTA and SAC at her son's school, as well as serving as a
board member for her Neighborhood Association, Jessica also finds time
to volunteer at the Humane Society where she loves to give needy dogs
cute "clips" to help get them placed in new homes. After grooming for
nine years, Jessica believes she is lucky to have found her passion!
Her philosophy is that "building a trusting relationship with the
client and their pet makes for a more enjoyable experience overall". |
